Public courses
Registration
The electronic registration (incl. via e-mail) is binding. The amount stated in the course description is the participant fee to be paid, plus VAT.
Participant fee
The course participant will receive the invoice during or after the seminar. Invoices are payable within 10 days. The participant fee includes all teaching materials and documents provided during the course as well as – for on-site training – the seminar catering during the training day. All participant fees are subject to the currently valid value-added tax.
Invoices for exam-only attendance are generally payable in advance.
Cancellation
The cancellation of a course participant must be made electronically. Participant fees in case of cancellations will be charged as follows:
- Cancellation free of charge up to 14 working days before the start of the course.
- In the case of cancellation within 14 working days before the start of the course, the full participant fee will be charged. A paying alternative participant can be named at any time without incurring costs.
Delivery
The course will be confirmed or cancelled 14 days before the start based on the number of registrations. In the event of cancellation, any participant fees already paid will be refunded in full or credited for another course date.
We reserve the right to make changes for organisational reasons to changes in schedule, the course location, the trainer and minor changes to the course material due to amendments to the syllabus or similar.
In the event of a course cancellation or change of date, SwissQ will not assume any costs for travel or accommodation already booked.
Exclusion
The course leader reserves the right to exclude course participants with insufficient performance from the course. In this case, the participant fee, minus an administrative fee of 20%, will be refunded for the parts of the course not attended.
In-house courses
Proposal
Upon request, SwissQ will provide a written offer for an in-house course. The course dates are agreed by mutual consent. The in-house course becomes binding with the signing of the offer or a digital or written agreement.
Cancellation by customer
The customer has the option to cancel or postpone a booked course free of charge up to 28 working days before the start of the course.
Cancellation by supplier
If the course date cannot be kept due to illness, accident or force majeure related absence of the trainer, a substitute trainer will be provided if possible. If this is not possible, a new date for the course will be agreed by mutual consent.
Examinations
Examinations for ISTQB, iSQI and IREB certifications are administered by an independent certification body. Minimum numbers of participants apply for invoicing.
Travel expenses
For assignments outside the German-speaking part of Switzerland (“Deutschschweiz”), all travel expenses as well as the trainer’s travel time to and from the venue will be charged to the customer.
